For the first time, there won't be a theme poll for Equinox this season!
We've had sports-related themes in various forms in the theme polls for a few seasons now, and they're always popular, but never quite the winner. Those of you voting for these themes season after season have definitely waited long enough, so we're going ahead with one for spring and will resume theme polls with Fall Equinox later this year.
The theme for Spring Equinox 2020 is "Game On" - sources in any format focusing on games & game play.
("Sources in any format" includes (but is not limited to) live action television and movies; anime and other animated television and movies; live action or animated sources released on streaming platforms or the internet; video games; comic books, graphic novels, and manga; and non-graphical/visual sources, e.g. books and podcasts.)
There are many kinds of games under the umbrella of this theme, including sports, video and tabletop games, reality TV competitions, and more. Read on for more information about what qualifies!
( What qualifies for Game On? )
If you have any questions about the theme and what qualifies, you can leave it as a screened comment here.
Nominations for Game On open on Sunday, February 16th. Full dates for Spring Equinox 2020 are here.
