When is says “only characters and relationships canonically associated” does that exclude subtext ships between characters included in canon even if there’s an AO3 tag for it?

"canonical" is in reference to how AO3 does tags (in AO3's own terms) - "canonical tags" are ones associated to the fandom within AO3, that's all. There's no restriction on whether or not relationships are canon in their source!

Hey, I'm trying to sign up and would like to request a theme-specific multifandom vid, but I'm getting this error message:

These fandom tags in your request are not allowed in this challenge: Multi-Fandom

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, would you be able to help?
