Deadline & submissions update

Hi everyone!

Today was the first deadline for prompt fill submissions! This was really just a deadline for us to assess where submissions are at, but you're welcome to continue to claim and fill prompts until November 20th, which is the night before go-live.

When you fill a prompt, you may notice that the "Gift this work to" spot on the submission page does not automatically fill in. We ask you to please fill this in manually so the person who submitted the prompt will know their prompt has been filled. If you've already submitted a vid and haven't done so already, please edit your submission to include this information. If you are filling a prompt that you submitted yourself, please gift it to yourself in order to maintain anonymity (though you are welcome to edit this at go-live if you feel uncomfortable listing yourself as both the creator and recipient).

Question - I claimed a prompt and submitted a vid for it, but the prompt has now disappeared from the "my claims" tab on my profile. Is there any way for me to check and make sure it's there/edit it, if any edits need to be made?

If you hover over your username in the top right corner, click on "My Works" and then click on "Works in Collections," does it show up there?

It doesn't look like it, no.

Things in unrevealed collections can be hard to find, but try your statistics page? If it's not there, you might need to wait for the mods to approve it to the collection.

/not a mod, just hangs out in a lot of exchange collections

I think you're right. I just checked my statistics page and my submission is there under the fandom. Should work for the others as well :)

Thank you for suggesting this! I'd started to think it was impossible see/edit my submissions!

It's there! And I've now added the recipient so it shows up on their gifts page, thank you.

I also submitted a claim in late October that seems to have disappeared. Do you know if this is a problem with AO3? Should I just resubmit it?

It's probably nothing--it's normal for unrevealed works to be tough to find. Try your statistics page!

There it is! I've added the recipient's name now.
